A late Victorian House sited for the best views of the Yorkshire Dales and the North Pennines and then extended and remodelled inside as a spectacular Arts and Crafts house for entertaining.

The family, entrusting me with their vision, requested a series of pictures of their new home, a piece of Yorkshire they could take back to the United States. The main picture was to be adapted into a Christmas card, a unique way to share their new home with loved ones.

So, the principal picture was A1, designed as a colourful statement piece fronted by the wildflower meadow. This vibrant scene was then transformed into a delightful snow scene, perfect for their Christmas card.

The other picture, featuring the formal garden where their son proposed on the steps, is not just a fascinating record of the garden, but a poignant reminder of a significant moment in their lives.
